The C Bechstein A124 Style is the flagship model from the "Academy" range of fantastic upright pianos created by the highly skilled artisans of the famous C Bechstein factory in Germany, the leading company in the C Bechstein family. The piano is crafted using only the very best top shelf materials and cutting edge manufacturing techniques in the worlds most advanced piano factory in Berlin, Germany.

The extra height of the C Bechstein A124 Style, when compared to some of the smaller models in the series, enables the player to have a lot more control over the finer aspects of the sound and create a large scope of dynamic contrast with ease, as well as allowing for a much wider and richer tonal palette to be generated.

This piano is finished in a very attractive traditional "style" Casework, which would fit in well with the decor in most domestic situations. A more contemporary styled model of the same piano is also available, the C Bechstein A124 "Imposant", which features an angular modernist design.

The C Bechstein A124 Style is also available (at additional cost) with C Bechstein’s factory fitted “Vario” silent play system which can be added to this, or indeed any other W Hoffman piano during the initial construction process. This innovative and highly regarded technology enables the use of headphones for noiseless playing, and mutes the strings in favour of high quality digital sampled sounds whilst still using the genuine acoustic action for a realistic playing feel.

The C Bechstein A124 Style is available in a wide variety of different high gloss and satin finishes and colours, including black, white, walnut, cherry, vavona, and burl walnut, as well as a range of other stunning and unique special finishes.
