Yamaha GC2 baby grand piano is part of Yamaha's new series based on the original and sought after 'G series'.

The GC2 is the flagship model in the G Series and uses the frames used in the CX series that give the piano extra durability and tension capacity for longer resonance and a richer tonal palette.

Built in Japan to a high standard, the GC2 and smaller GC1 offer astonishingly good value that will be suitable for players looking for professional, concert like performance at a remarkably affordable price point.

The Yamaha GC2 is also available (at additional cost) with a factory fitted Yamaha SG2 silent play system, which can be added to this, or indeed any other Yamaha piano during the initial construction process. This innovative and highly regarded technology enables the use of headphones for noiseless playing, and mutes the strings in favour of high quality digital sampled sounds whilst still using the genuine acoustic action for a realistic playing feel.

As with all Yamaha pianos, the Yamaha GC2 is available to order in a wide range of attractive colours and finishes. The standard model is polished ebony with brass metalwork, although the instrument can also be specified in polished white, polished mahogany and satin American walnut, all of which are available for an additional charge and feature brass fittings.
